Erick Marroquin is a passionate immigration attorney licensed to practice law in New York. Born in Guatemala and raised in Brooklyn and Queens after immigrating to the U.S. at the age of five, Erick brings a personal understanding of the immigrant experience to his legal practice.
He earned his law degree from Touro Law School, where he was awarded the Equality for Immigration Rights Award and the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for earning the highest grade in his immigration law course.
Today, at Marroquin Law, P.C., Erick is dedicated to helping others find safety, stability, and opportunity through immigration law. He focuses on humanitarian and family-based immigration matters including VAWA, SIJS, asylum, U and T visas, adjustment of status, pardons, and immigration defense.
With deep roots in the immigrant community and a client-first approach, Erick is proud to stand beside those who are building a better future in the United States.

Eileen Quintanilla Suggs
Eileen Quintanilla Suggs is a paralegal at Marroquin Law, where she oversees a wide range of immigration matters, particularly for clients in removal proceedings. Her experience includes asylum, cancellation of removal (42B), VAWA, adjustment of status, waivers, U and T visas, petitions, motions to reopen, and detainee cases.
Originally from El Salvador and raised in Australia, Eileen brings a global perspective and strong dedication to her work. She holds a B.A. in Politics, Economics, and Law from SUNY Old Westbury and is fluent in English and Spanish. Eileen is committed to guiding clients through complex legal processes with compassion and professionalism.

Alexis J. Ruiz
Alexis J. Ruiz is a paralegal at Marroquin Law, where she leads the preparation of key immigration applications and supervises operations at our Jackson Heights, Queens office. She focuses on cases involving Asylum, VAWA, SIJS, and Adjustment of Status. Passionate about immigrant rights and legislative reform, Alexis is also an avid reader and traveler who enjoys learning about different cultures.

Sophia Alvarado is a Legal Assistant at Marroquin Law, P.C., where she supports clients primarily in Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS), Asylum, and U-Visa cases. She assists with work permit applications, ensures timely filing of immigration petitions, and provides clients with clear and consistent updates on their cases.
Sophia is passionate about protecting the rights of immigrants and making sure they feel seen, supported, and empowered throughout their legal journey. Every person, regardless of status, deserves protection under the law.

Lilian Marcia
Lilian Marcia is a paralegal at Marroquin Law, P.C., focusing on Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) cases. She assists with preparing and filing petitions in family court and ensures all supporting documentation is in place. Fluent in English and Spanish, Lilian is passionate about guiding clients through the legal system and takes pride in helping them move toward legal status in the United States. Outside the office, she enjoys staying active and prioritizes fitness in her daily life.

Emely Fernandez
Emely Fernandez is a paralegal at Marroquin Law who assists with a wide range of matters, including U-Visa cases, VAWA petitions, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) cases, work permit applications, and FOIA requests. She finds it deeply rewarding to help clients who often lack access to critical legal support, and values being part of a team that makes a meaningful impact. Outside of the office, she aspires to travel more and explore new hobbies to continue broadening her experiences and perspective.
